I came upon this a few years back at a crucial and important time in my life where I was seeking to build and sustain awareness – it had a galvanizing effect on me and came as a peculiarly sychronicitous gift arriving at precisely the moment I needed it.

I was introduced to David Foster Wallace, sadly, by way of his obituary in the New York Times. I had a special kind of sadness. I lamented the loss of someone that had given me so much and yet was no longer here for me to champion, support, thank and experience.
